BURST WATER MAIN

I am pleased to report that the burst water main on Ryleys Lane has now been fixed.  When I spoke to officers from United Utilities earlier, they confirmed that one of the collars on the pipework (which is now many years old) had fractured, causing the egress of water.  The system has been flushed out, using the standpipe at the junction with Eaton Drive, to ensure that residents' water supplies remain clear.
