SPEED INDICATOR DEVICE

I am pleased to report that the new SID is up and operational on Congleton Road. "Operation Sparkle" carried out by the police before Christmas, showed this to be the worst location covered by the Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, in terms of the number of tickets issued. The SID has been paid for by Alderley Edge Parish Council at a cost of £2,370 and will continually monitor vehicle speeds at this location.
