SINK HOLE ON MOTTRAM ROAD

Following a report from a resident, I recently went out to inspect the site of a pothole on Mottram Road. Closer inspection revealed that it is in fact a sink hole and I would like to reassure residents that this has now been reported to Cheshire East Highways as a priority for action. A traffic cone has been left in front of the sinkhole to indicate its presence, but I would like to advise all drivers and pedestrians to take extra care if they are in the vicinity. I will provide an update in due course.
