OAKFIELD ROAD VERGES
As I reported at the recent Parish Council meeting, the grass verges between Crescent Road and Heyes Lane are to be removed and replaced with tarmac during late February/early March. A former Parish Councillor has said that he believes the verges should be left as they are! Please let me know what you think, using the comments box below.

EATON DRIVE LAMP POSTS
I am pleased to confirm that the damaged lamp column on Eaton Drive is due to be replaced next week. At the same time, the defective light on the adjacent column (opposite the entrance to Wilton Crescent) is also due to be repaired. The lamp outside No. 43 Wilton Crescent has a problem with its electrical feed and United Utilities have been contacted.
ROADWORKS/TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
Just to advise that roadworks are due to be carried out with two-way traffic signals in place at the following locations and dates. Please drive carefully and allow extra journey time.
