HARDEN PARK DEVELOPMENT

Application 15/1955M (demolition of existing nightclub building and erection of 12 bungalows, including 4 affordable dwellings, with associated car parking, gardens and landscaping) will be heard at Northern Planning Committee on Wednesday 6th July. Let me know what you think.

MOSS ROAD/DUKE STREET

This morning, Cheshire East Highways are working on repairing and resurfacing the footpath at the corner of Moss Road & Duke Street.  Work is also going ahead on gully clearing across the village.

GULLY CLEARING

Cheshire East Highways will be carrying out gully clearing tomorrow (29th June) on Heyes Lane, Redesmere Drive & Windermere Drive.  Please help to raise awareness and politely let drivers know not to park on these roads tomorrow, whilst work is being carried out.

 

RYLEYS LANE CAR PARK

Officers from Cheshire East have agreed to fully resurface, mark out and enforce the Ryleys Lane Car Park. Unfortunately, we will be losing the maple tree in the centre of the car park, along with some of the existing hedgerow, but this will allow some additional spaces to be created. Following this, parking at Ryleys Lane will become enforceable and any parking outside a designated bay will be subject to a fixed penalty notice. The plan is to do this whilst the schools are on holiday at the end of October.

TALBOT ROAD SURFACING

Following months of hard work, Talbot Road has finally been resurfaced today, which is great news!  Once this work has been completed, parking on the road opposite the Medical Centre will be restricted to 30 minutes.

VILLAGE PLANTERS

PLANTERS AT WOOD GARDENS:
Over recent months I've been working with local businesses to encourage them to sponsor and maintain some new planters to brighten up the village.  Here are the results from Wood Gardens, with thanks to: Chilli Jacks, the Village Balti, Posh Pooch's, the Edge Cleaning Company and Alderley Edge Food & Wine.
